A van driver was rescued from his vehicle by firefighters after it became trapped in fast-flowing flood water in Somerset today.Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue received an alert at 8.35am and sent two fire engines from Taunton and a specialist rescue tender from Bridgwater to the incident at Netherclay, Bishops Hull, Taunton. The crews pushed the vehicle out of the flood water wearing dry suits and rescued one man from the vehicle.
