A farm apprentice could face jail today for hitting, throwing and stamping on newborn calves.
Owen Nichol, 19, was filmed (see video below) attacking the young cows and their mothers at Pyrland Farm in Taunton, in December last year.
The abuse was captured on a covert camera placed in a barn by the charity Animal Equality.
