Union officials have moved to reassure staff at a major British retailer as uncertainty surrounds their job security.
The Co-op Group has agreed to sell 298 of its food stores to McColl's for £117m. The group has said that it will be selling off its smaller stores that aren't able to stock a full-range of its own brand products.
